This do-it-yourself mini bar is made out of a jerry can – or a petrol canister. You can customize it in any way you want depending on your needs. For example, you have total control of the shelving size and content.
Making your own mini bar from a jerry can is no rocket science. While it does require some intermediate skills, you can still do this on your own. Start by gathering the needed tools and materials and then get to work!
- 20-liter Jerry Can
- approximately 2.5 meters rubber seal
- draw lathes
- pop rivets
- small screws, bolts, washers
- wood screws
- 1cm thick plywood
- polyurethane windshield glue
- black mat spray paint
- some clear coat for finish
- angle grinder
- drill and bits
- pop rivet tool
- rotary tool
- some marking and measuring tools
- table saw/miter saw to cut plywood to size
